About
I work across visual art, storytelling, and sound, exploring inner life, transformation, and the layered nature of identity. My work often takes shape as faces and figures — not as portraits, but as carriers of mood, memory, and inner states.
Drawing has always been a quiet constant in my creative practice. During a period of deep personal reflection, I returned to working by hand through linocut carving and printing. This tactile process became the foundation for a growing body of work. What began as an intuitive release gradually evolved into layered, mask-like images that form the basis of my ongoing visual practice.
Masks recur throughout my work — not as disguises, but as surfaces through which something deeper can speak. They are shaped by experience, emotion, and inner movement, allowing structure and intuition to exist side by side.
Alongside my visual work, I develop Lumina: a poetic story world for children and grown-ups, where image and text meet as an invitation to explore emotion, imagination, and inner presence.
I am based in the Netherlands.
